We are proud to share that Dhanmondi Government Boys’ High School, Bangladesh, successfully participated in the Online Global Collaboration Session with SMK Sungai Besi, Malaysia on the topic “Sustainable Projects in Schools.” On 22 January 2026. The session was organized under the framework of the Eco-Schools initiative, with the Green Growth Asia Foundation serving as the main initiator of this global collaboration. The discussion highlighted innovative school-based sustainability initiatives aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), focusing on greening education and environmental responsibility. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to these inspiring young changemakers for their commitment to sustainability and global collaboration. We also express our sincere thanks and gratitude to the organizers for creating this meaningful platform for international exchange and learning. Together, we continue to strengthen global partnerships and empower youth for a greener future.
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Asian Ecotourism Network (AEN) were successfully held this year in Sabah, Malaysia, alongside meaningful field visits, including a visit to a premier UNESCO World Heritage Site. As part of the field activities, we had the privilege of observing Rafflesia, the world’s largest flower in the rainforests of Southeast Asia signifying the region’s rich biodiversity. Among the strong and active global networks on ecotourism, the Asian Ecotourism Network is widely recognized and highly respected. For more than two decades, AEN has been developing standards and guidelines for authentic and responsible ecotourism, which are now followed by many Asian countries and acknowledged internationally. It is also important to highlight that ecotourism and sustainable tourism are key pillars of Probha Aurora’s programmatic work. This visit helped build meaningful relationships among representatives from different countries through leadership transitions, transparent, healthy, constructive board discussions. We believe these connections will play a valuable role in promoting ecotourism in the future.
A unique workshop at Probha Aurora gathered talented website creators, coders, and designers from across the country. “Sustainable Digital Futures: Environmental Considerations in Modern Science and Technology” under Eco-Campus promoted environmentally responsible planning and use of technology.
